Life... Predictably Unpredictable

Worrying is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but it doesn't get you anywhere.

Attitude : The Winning Edge

Little samuel was scribbling something on his notepad when his mother quipped, " sam, you wana get yourself some cookies?" This was something that always cheered up sam 'cause he could reach out for the box of cookies. Well, in case you are wondering why would someone consider that as an achievement, Sam was crippled and had no left leg. He was dependant on
crutches since the tender age of 4.

His mother always wished he could play baseball like the other kids of the neighbourhood. One day, Sam decided come what may, he is going to give it a shot. He had been watching the game regularly with his dad and had gotten familiar with the elementary rulez of the game. But it was always the leg that had held him back. He knew he wanted to "live" with it and not just merely survive.

His mother was surprised when he asked for his own pair of baseball gloves. She reminded him how he would feel when the other kids hit the ball and run. Sam with ease and confidence replied , "Mom, Don't you worry.I'll hit the ball outside the ground and walk".

A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E

Jamshedji Tata during his interview emphasized on the importance of Attitude. He said , on substituting the word A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E with its aphabetical value according to its position in English Literature ( For eg. A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, ...) we get Attitude = 100. That shows the importance of having an attitude to survive and hold your identity in today's competitive and materialistic world. Just thought would share it with you folks. Think about it...its worth the few minutes you spend!!
